Architects Benevolent Society

As a WordPress website developer, I had the privilege of working with design agency Ave Design on a project for the Architects Benevolent Society (ABS). The goal was to create a modern and visually stunning website that truly represented ABS’s mission and the people they support.

With careful attention to detail, we worked hard to faithfully convert the final designs provided by Ave Design into a robust and flexible WordPress website theme. I used the latest block editor to ensure the website was built mobile-first and user-friendly. Additionally, we prioritised security and SEO, ensuring that the website had a 90+ lighthouse score as default.

During the website concept stage, Ave expanded on ABS’s existing colour palette and introduced new typefaces that gave the website a contemporary look and offered greater flexibility. They also developed an illustration style that conveyed the mission and human-focused nature of ABS’s work.

Working closely with both the design agency and the client, we were able to create a website that not only looked great but also functioned flawlessly. The finished product is a stunning representation of ABS’s mission and work, and we are proud to have been a part of bringing it to life.

At the heart of everything I do as a WordPress website developer is the belief that attention to detail, flexibility, and user-friendliness are key to creating websites that are truly impactful. Working with design agencies like Ave Design has allowed me to continue to grow and develop my skills while delivering beautiful websites to clients who are making a difference in the world.
