About me

It’s just me, Andy – no middle-men.

I am Andy White (he/him), a freelance WordPress developer based in Herefordshire. I build custom WordPress themes, plugins and platform features for organisations that need their website to be fast, accessible, sustainable and straightforward to manage.

For years my work has been closely tied to London agencies, charities and enterprise teams, and those relationships still matter. The business is now based in Herefordshire, while the work remains remote-first and national in scope, with in-person London meetings arranged when a workshop or key decision benefits from it.

Most of my work is technical delivery: turning strong design and content thinking into WordPress sites that perform well in the real world. I specialise in block themes, Gutenberg, ACF, PorterWP, custom post types, editorial workflows, API integrations, performance, accessibility and long-term support.

I am often brought in by creative agencies, in-house marketing teams and established organisations when a standard WordPress build is not enough. That might mean a multilingual enterprise platform, a searchable resource hub, a membership site, a data import, a custom plugin, or a rescue job on a site that has become slow, fragile or difficult to maintain.

The aim is simple: build WordPress properly, keep the editing experience sane, and leave clients with a site they can trust.

From new builds to complex platform improvements, I create fast, accessible WordPress websites that are easy to manage and built to last.
