Supporting civic innovation through design-led storytelling

Civic Futures equips civil society to challenge government overreach and strengthen democratic participation. Working with Ave Design, we developed a bespoke WordPress site to communicate the initiative’s mission and resources.

Challenge

Civic Futures needed a modern, editorial-style website that reflected their global outlook, presented research clearly, and enabled content teams to manage updates efficiently without technical support.

Solution

We built a custom WordPress theme with flexible page layouts using the block editor, designed to showcase long-form thought pieces, partner profiles, and event listings. Accessibility, clarity, and editorial polish guided every decision.

Outcome

The resulting website presents Civic Futures’ work in a confident, globally-minded format – empowering civil society to share ideas, research, and strategies for positive change.
